The International Motorsports Industry Show made a 2 hour trek east to Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway this weekend for the 17th Annual Dream 100 for the UMP Dirt Late Models. This marked the first time the IMIS Hardcore Hauler was taken on the road to be viewed by exhibitor and attendee alike outside the Indianapolis area. St. Louis Children’s Hospital Captures Team Competition at Eldora Speedway
ROSSBURG, Ohio (June 8, 2011) – The box score says that Clint Bowyer led all 30 laps in Wednesday night’s Prelude to the Dream all-star dirt Late Model race at Eldora Speedway, but the native of Emporia, Kan., had to fend off strong charges from J.J. Motorsports Industry Stands Strong on the Great Racing Weekend
Mother Nature finally cooperated for a perfect weekend of racing throughout the country and world as we saw some of the best racing in recent memory. People flocked the stands and cars packed the pit area from tradition of Indy to thrills of Charlotte, from the Dirt Oval at Wheat to the streets of Monaco it was truly a memorable weekend in motorsports. As Mother Nature finally allowed for a full weekend of racing in much of the country, IMIS staff members were out meeting with racers, business owners, and manufactures from all over the Industry. While other members of our team were visiting Texas and Eldora Speedway, I made Brownstown Speedway in Southern Indiana my weekend stop for The Lucas Oil Late Model Series first post speed weeks event.
I always enjoy my traditional early season trip to Brownstown as it gives me a chance to speak with exhibitors and attendees about their off season and what they think the new season will bring. The feedback I received from teams and manufactures always helps us to continue to improve and enhance our services to the industry.
