Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The 100th anniversary of the Indy 500 proved to the world why the 500 is the biggest, most prestigious race in the world. Two wide restarts and a dramatic finish had a huge crowd cheering all day long. There is a sense that this event, along with the IZOD IndyCar series is making resurgence in the world of professional racing.

IMIS Presents True Grit Award

I (Chris Paulsen) am pleased to announce the return of the C&R Racing True Grit Award at the 100th anniversary of the Indy 500. I created the True Grit Award in 1998 to honor a hard working mechanic, chief mechanic, engineer, or crew member who has dedicated years to the sport of IndyCar or NASCAR racing. The recipients of this award have been Industry professionals that have distinguished themselves in our sport. Many times they are the unsung heroes that labor tirelessly behind the scenes without recognition.
